Purpose and Scope of Application
Large-sized reinforced concrete slabs are used in the construction of tram tracks for arranging vehicle passage and pedestrian walkways, ensuring traffic safety and the aesthetic appearance of urban road infrastructure. The products meet the requirements for slabs operating under demanding service conditions, subjected to dynamic loads from tram and road transport moving over the slab.
Key advantages
-
High strength and durability due to the presence of a reinforcing cage (8–10 mm) and concrete class B50 with special additives used in the manufacture of slabs with high frost resistance.
-
Increased rate of tram track installation due to the optimal enlarged slab dimensions.
-
Reliable slab fixing and track stability throughout the entire service life due to the presence of locks (protrusions and recesses) on the end surfaces of the slabs.
-
Reduced noise and vibration levels due to the presence of solid rubber seals on the end protrusions of the slabs, integrated into the concrete:
-
up to 3 dB (at 250 Hz) in combination with other structural elements without the use of under ballast mats;
-
by 6–8 dB (63 Hz), 10–15 dB (125 Hz), 15–20 dB (250 Hz) as part of a prefabricated track structure with a soft vibration mat.
-
-
Extended warranty of up to 5 years (subject to the use of recommended rubber technical elements of the track (profiles/retainers, under ballast mats, sleeper pads).
