The decking made of rubber slabs, project YaIUM.RTI.034.00.00, is designed for arranging railway crossings and for the movement of vehicles with a load of up to 13 t per axle. The slabs form a covering at the same level as the top of the rail head.
The decking is installed on railway tracks with a track gauge of 1520 mm, R65 rails, KB-65 fastenings and Sh1 reinforced concrete sleepers. The covering reduces the noise level, softens the load from moving vehicles on the track superstructure, and is resistant to acids, alkalis, and winter road de-icing agents.
The modular design allows selecting the decking width in increments of 540 mm. A longitudinal tie rod unites the slabs into a single structure and prevents the formation of gaps between them. The basic set is designed for a single-track section and has a width of 6480 mm.
Installation on straight and curved track sections is possible, taking into account the requirements of the infrastructure owner. At the customer’s discretion, the decking is equipped with clamping beams: they ensure tight adhesion of the outer slabs to the rails and allow the decking to be dismantled without damaging the adjacent road surface. The design provides for partial dismantling of the slabs during maintenance and repair.
