Electric point motor with internal locking, non-breakable, contactless, for metro systems, type SP-10BM-A.1 LMFV.1.30.003.000.000 TU

SP-10BM.A1 is designed for moving the switch in intermittent duty mode, locking and monitoring the position in continuous mode for switches with non-separable movement of point blades on metro sections.

Electric point motor with internal locking, non-breakable, contactless, for metro systems, type SP-10BM-A.1, is used in electrical centralization systems at metro stations to organize traffic.

SP-10BM-A.1 is installed on metro switch fittings on the right or left side of the turnout.

The point motor incorporates the following upgraded components and parts:

  • a gearbox with a friction clutch mounted outside its housing;

  • a modular friction clutch with four pairs of discs and cylindrical springs;

  • metal-ceramic parts made of modern composite materials used in the friction-sliding pairs;

  • a newly designed crank switch that eliminates failures typical of a standard crank switch;

  • a removable anti-friction insert under the point blade (slide bar) that prevents wear of the point motor housing;

  • contactless sensors of improved design;

  • a new stamped-and-welded cover with air valves featuring adjustable openings.
